Lower Moreland Players Compete in Disney Field Hockey Showcase

Lindsay Boerner and Corey Mayer traveled to Orlando, Fla. to play against some of the country's top talent.

Lindsay Boerner and Corey Mayer traveled to play in the Disney Field Hockey Showcase played at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla. from Feb 9-12. This is the ultimate place for top field hockey players to be seen by hundreds of college coaches looking for top field hockey talent.

During this tournament, Lindsay and Corey represented Mystx Field Hockey Club.  The team won their division and advanced into the "Mickey Flight" (considered the premiere pool for the tournament).  In the end, the team did not win the overall championship however, they placed in the top percentile of all 80 participating teams. They had four wins, two losses (both losses by only one goal).

It was a fantastic tournament and opportunity and we are very proud of both Lindsay and Corey and wish them continued success in pursuing their Field Hockey dreams.
